OUR MISSION

Established in 2010, our academy consistently provides support to those who wish to excel. Our vision of Martial Arts is to create winning attitudes and leadership qualities in our community. At Spearfish Martial Arts it is our goal to create champions in mind, body and spirit, on and off the mat. No matter the age or the skill level of the student, our instructors are patient, well-trained, and ready to push you to the next level. We recognize that each and every individual has their own form of learning and cater to the needs of our students.

Muay Thai - It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat that utilizes the entire body as a weapon. It is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs”; and using eight points of contact the body mimics weapons of war.

  • This class consists of technique instruction, pad and bag work, and some optional sparring.

First day? We have loaner gloves and shin guards for you! Just come!

  • Adult BJJ Gi Fundamentals - A 24-week curriculum introduces new students to the fundamental techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
  • Adult BJJ Gi Advanced - Teaches advanced positions and techniques. For blue belts and up (or w/instructor permission).

We offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, TaeKwonDo and Cardio Kickboxing classes to anyone and everyone who wants to learn (Kids ages 4+).
