Peak Defender Course 


This 20+ hour course masterfully blends the arts of self-defense and tactical firearms training built on a foundation of the human physiological responses to stress and awareness.  Students will gain an understanding of safety and preparedness through exposure to live-fire exercises and scenario based training, allowing individuals to create and assess a baseline in the expectations and limitations of their own performance.

*Additional Considerations*


We suggest compact or tactical models with 10-17 round magazine capacities.  If sub-compact models are utilized, please strongly consider having extra magazines to minimize the time to reload during live-fire drills.  Revolvers, while reliable, are strongly discouraged for this course.


While we don’t recommend or have a brand preference, Kydex holsters or those with a Level 2 retention system, are also strongly recommended.  Holsters may be open carried and attached to the pants belt or a tactical belt.  Internal concealed carry holsters may be utilized, however, no behind-the-back and/or chest rigs will be allowed. Magazine retention systems are also strongly recommended, but not required.


We also don’t require you to have a manicure or pedicure before attending our course, but please ensure your claws are trimmed before participating in drills and exercises for your safety and those of your potential training partners.


Additionally, we suggest having a water source available at all times on the range and on the mats.  Small coolers and/or any sustenance should be considered, as instructional breaks will be minimal to ensure we maximize your training experience.
